Hello & welcome to my new website! Very exciting.
I've been planning on making a website for a while now but finally got the push that I needed after selling on Etsy for 3 years. Transparency & honesty are very important to me so here is that reason.
You may (or may not) be aware that Etsy has a policy to enroll creators who cross a certain revenue threshod (very low for someone who has high material costs) into offsite ads. You can never reverse this process.
If you sell an item through offsite ads or within a month of that customer clicking on one you are charged an additional 15% fees. My items are priced based on materials + labour so if this was to happen I would be severely out of pocket.
Therefore I have no choice but to increase my costs on Etsy by 15% just incase this happens, which hardly seems fair on my loyal & direct customers.
